A TAROX Motorsport brake kit is quite different to a usual TAROX kit where the focus would be anything up to 50/50 road and track; offering enough comfort, drivability and service life to be used purely as a road system with very little if any extra maintenance when compared to the stock brake system.
Our Motorsport kits are focused on performance and weight saving with daily comforts such as noise reduction and serviceability reduced in the pursuit of braking power over a long period.
The kit features our R380 caliper paired to reduced annulas, lightweight 380mm billet rotors and super thick 25mm endurance specific brake pads.
Motorsport specific components are engineered for ultimate performance with a reduced focus on longevity and comfort. Parts are designed to work best in a single scenario - the race track. Race parts are also designed with a weight and driving style radically different to that of the average road driver. Brake power is prioritised over modulation, rigidity over noise, and weight over thermal capacity.
One of the key innovations that distinguishes our Motorsport system from our regular RoadRace kits is the transition from the B38R to the R380 caliper - a race-only 6-piston caliper. Surprisingly, moving from an 8-piston to a 6-piston configuration can enhance braking performance on the circuit thanks to a larger piston area. This switch not only allows for fitment within smaller wheels but also results in a significant 4kg weight reduction, directly impacting the car’s handling and acceleration.

- Hand assembled calipers machined from the highest quality billet alloy.
- Heat treated CNC machined billet rotors with a choice of facings.
- Hard anodised alloy disc bells.
